Thomas F. Vorisek*
President

Tom serves as the founder and president of Vorisek Financial Corporation.  Tom has provided full service financial services since 1985.  He has a long history of establishing client relationships through a needs-based approach. Tom received a bachelor's degree from Ohio University.  He currently holds Series 6, 7, 22, and 63 security registrations in addition to multiple state insurance licenses.  Tom lives in Gahanna, Ohio with his wife Linda and three daughters Lauren, Erin and Caroline.

Eric Shearer, CFP^®*

Vice President and Director of Financial Planning

Eric joined Vorisek Financial Corporation in October of 2007 as Vice President and Director of Financial Planning. He obtained his Certified Financial Planner™ Certification in October of 2010, and has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Eric has held his Series 7 and 66 security registrations, and his State of Ohio Life, Health, and Variable Annuities license since 2003. He assists our clients in the research, development, and implementation of their financial plans, as well as with periodic reviews. In 2000, Eric graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications from Ohio University. Originally from Westerville, he and his wife, Erica, currently reside in the Gahanna-New Albany area with their son, Landon and their daughter, Presley.

Wayne T. Struble
Director of Insurance

Wayne has been associated with Vorisek Financial Corporation since 1985.  Specializing in the insurance area, Wayne assists in quotes, in-force illustrations and oversees the underwriting processes of Life, Disability, Long-Term Care and Business insurance for our clients.  He is also responsible for all of our individual health insurance clients.  Wayne has a BS from Franklin University in Business Administration and has been licensed in the state of Ohio since 1975 for life and health.  He is married to Karen and has two daughters, Amie and Cassandra, and two grandchildren.

Suzi Walton
Lead Administrative Assistant

Suzi began working for Vorisek Financial Corporation in November 2005.  She is responsible for our client`s securities accounts.  Her duties include processing securities trades, new securities business and client management.  Suzi graduated from Franklin University with a degree in Human Resources in 2002.  Originally from Westerville, Suzi now resides in Sunbury with her husband Todd and their two daughters, Katy and Ava.

Danielle Nypaver
Registered Administrative Assistant

Danielle started working with us in May of 2011.  She works with all aspects of the insurance business. She processes the new Life, Disability, and Long term Care Insurance applications and monitors their progress through underwriting. She also handles the client servicing of the existing insurance policies. Danielle graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.  She enjoys running, cooking and reading.

Suzy Munro
Administrative Assistant

Suzy joined our team in April of 2009. She manages the front desk and provides assistance to staff and clients. Originally from Ohio, Suzy lived in Texas for 3 years where she worked for U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Austin. She now lives in Clintonville and enjoys swimming with dolphins, SCUBA diving and going to Volkswagen car shows. Suzy also actively volunteers with groups such as the March of Dimes, the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Heart Association, and Project AWARE. In addition to her volunteer work, Suzy currently works part-time for Bath and Body Works.

Lisa Watford
Comptroller

Lisa handles all accounting aspects of the business from receiving commissions, accounts payable and processing payroll.  Lisa is responsible for quarterly and annual tax filings.  She is also involved in many human resources issues for the practice.  Lisa joined Vorisek Corporation in 2005.
